Attend PA Programming at VAM
PA programming is set to take place from 1:15 – 5:15pm Thursday, June 13. There will be a PA networking lunch before the section session from 12-1pm, and a PA networking meet-up afterwards at 5:30 in the exhibit hall. The entire Vascular Annual Meeting has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 30 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Register for VAM today.

Raffle tickets are available for $20, and those who purchase will have a chance to win a $500, $250 or $100 cash prize. The SVS is introducing a dedicated program for vascular residents and fellows at the 2019 Vascular Annual Meeting. The new program is set for 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, and will provide a forum to those nearing the end of their training that will allow them to explore several topics with leaders in vascular surgery. Discussion topics will focus on transition to practice, which will include presentations on business, career development, leadership and innovations on the horizon for vascular surgery. Attendance is open to all vascular residents and fellows enrolled in vascular fellowship programs or 0+5 residency programs. Participants must pre-register to participate. Topics include discussions of PAs in different team settings, vascular diagnostics, venous disease and wound management, and dialysis access. Attendees can also earn additional credits.
